FORZA HORIZON: COLORADO

These images are a collection of research photographs completed over 10 days in Colorado USA. Our small team covered areas such as Fortune Valley, Frisco, Breckenridge, Vale and Silverthorne.

This research was used to help create in game assets, model terrain and support building layouts. The research trips are always supplemented by weeks of reference gathering via Street View and Satellite imagery. This allowed us to be very specific when going to locations, as we could isolate assets for photography before arriving at the location.

The first research trip was in the Summer and the second in Autumn. Unfortunately, heavy snows made a large amount of the research unusable for individual assets, but became very important in the creation of the Mining Towns and Mountainous areas in Forza Horizon.
