FORZA HORIZON 2: ITALY
During the production phase of Forza Horizon 2, I was required to research photographic materials for our Environment team. These were to be compiled into a Global Asset List, which I created and compiled during my time as a Content Coordinator at Playground Games.
This was in support of a swathe of research relating to points of interest at the location. Once these were identified, myself and a small team flew to the locations and photographed each area in a detailed breakdown. These breakdowns were buildings, foliage, vistas and panoramas, road surfaces, time of day, street furniture, people and finally a new photographic technique to capture complex surface geometry known as photogrammetry which I helped incorporate into our new photographic practices.
The final results are pretty close to the finished game and was highly successful for the project as a whole.
